Miranda White
I am currently offering piano lessons for all ages and skill levels.
I have played the piano since the age of two. The majority of my studies have been under Jarrod Radnich, a musician and product specialist for Yamaha Corporation.
Radnich has performed in the greatest concert halls this country has to offer. He states, “When I first met her, I knew right away how genuine Miranda is, and I would best describe her as a woman of perseverance. I have been Miranda’s music instructor and mentor for quite some time. Believing in the power of music, Miranda has always been one who not only worked and developed her talents, but she has always been one to share her gift and enthusiasm with others who delight in it.”
One of my greatest accomplishments as a musician was in a scholarship recital held by the Joshua Tree Association Of Musicians and Songwriters. In front of a panel of very distinguished musicians and personalities, I held an engaging performance on the piano that won me the highly prestigious Al Rodau Memorial Scholarship.
After high school, I received a piano scholarship to attend the School of Music at the University of Redlands where I studied under Professor Louanne Long. It was at the U of R that my love for musical composition and theory developed. My goal for my students is that they not only learn how to play music, but that they develop a clear understanding and hopefully, excitement about what goes into the makings of music.
I will help guide students so the music starts to pull on their hearts by teaching them to really feel the music rather than simply learning how to pound on the keys of a piano. Visualization is a technique I use to really engage my students into the music.
I enjoy watching my students gain a new love and understanding of music as they learn their first songs as well as helping them gain new techniques to pull them even further along.
I charge $100 per month for 4 one-hour lessons.
